Abbas Sbeity
Loompaland 2017 was a different experience for me. It helped me realize different things about my leadership, my work style, and my values. Most importantly, it made me more attached to the vision, the “why”, and the community we are building. That sense of belonging is unique. The amount of support and faith each individual can get in the team is huge and made its impact on me and the way I do things. We are offered a space to be ourselves, to excel, and to feel appreciated, not only for our contribution to Beyond Learning but in all our endeavors life.

Thank you for being by Mercy Corps’ side through all the ups and downs, and most importantly thank you for treating our trainees like family members. You exceeded INTAJ’s employment rate to more than the needed %25. Your willingness and passion exceeded all preset guidelines to the better.
“Give a Man a Fish, and You Feed Him for a Day. Teach a Man How To Fish, and You Feed Him for a Lifetime.” Our collaboration lived up to the standards of this quote, and we are proud to have aided communities across the Bekaa regardless of ethnicity, background and beliefs.
