02/08/2014Yesterday, we visited our kids in the Loompaland camp where they spent their night camping in tents, after an impressive display of over 200 kids (Oompas) and 45 educators (Loompas.) Well it surely is branded as a summer camp for kids, but truth be told, it is a lot bigger than that, it is a whole universe for kids. It is beyond fun and even ‘Beyond Learning’ as the name of the organizing organization is actually named. It is a world where our kids are witnessing real LEADERSHIP: they’re leading themselves and they’re witnessing how Master Loompa Hammad trains, teaches, enables, trusts and leads his team of loompas. Real Congratulations: not only my kids are learning, I am personally learning as well!

15/08/2014Loompaland 2014 is coming to an end. This has been, again, a great summer for the kids, and us. The love, energy and values this summer camp brings to children and their families are beyond words. I haven’t yet find a place where kids can spend 5 intensive weeks of fun and education, discovering places, making friends and learning above all to become responsible and caring citizens. Under the leadership of Loompa Hammad and his “Angels”, the dedication, professionalism and rigor of the 47 Loompas were simply exemplary. The richness of the program, the rigor in the planning and organization and the utmost attention to details were just amazing. We are really happy to be part of this adventure and looking forward to the next episode. THANK YOU mnil alb.
